Step 4, Elderly Female Portrait

Step by Step

Now that I have blocked in all the easy dark shadows it was time to start putting down the first layers to create all the shapes and forms around the nose and upper lip. I use a lot of lighter colours from the Prisma Colour range to blend with, I dont like blending sticks so I prefer to use either a white pencil or light cold/warm greys to blend with. I normally start with the eyes first and build the face around them but this time i started on the nose, no real reason just seemed the best place to start. Any questions please ask below
