Step by Step
As with all my airbrush paintings I start off with a detailed line drawing. I rub a graphite pencil on the back of my reference image and then draw over the top, leaving a line drawing on my painting surface. You can see clearly in this photo my line drawing. Because this painting was so large I printed of 4 quarters and added my line drawings one at a time, being careful to make sure it all lined up nicely.
I have also started to paint in one of the eyes. I am using Createx illustration paint on Schoellershammer airbrush paper no 4
