Shark Painting, Final Steps
Step by Step

I have now started to really darken in everything to bring this painting to life. you can just see my reference image in the top part of this photo, always keep your reference close, never trust your brain, it will make up stuff that isn’t in your image so ALWAYS keep your reference close and keep studying it before you lay paint down on your paper. I have also started to use a blade to scratch out details in the bubbles and any areas that I felt needed a light edge. I also cut up some paper and used it as a stencil to define my edges around the shark, this now gives it a much more sharp look. I have also used the paper I cut out and used it around the teeth to define them and make them look sharper. I have continued to use my erasers in the areas needed to help bring this painting to an end
