    How much do you charge for a tattoo? The price of your new tattoo will depend on the size and how much work is required to design and tattoo it. Please answer the questions below to help me give you an accurate price. Michael Rose specialises in photorealism, before answering the following questions, please make sure that your tattoo request is in the style of photorealism, Michael's preference for tattooing and subjects he enjoys the most are Other projects he likes working on are: Gaming themes, Japanese style work, Pinup girls. For an appointment, please email ALL the following information to: 1. Your full name. 2. Your direct email. 3. Your phone number. 4. D.O.B 5. Please send a Clear Image of the photo or design you want tattooed. The clearer the image, the better I can tattoo it for you. 6. Important: Please send a photo of the area of your body you want tattooed clearly marking out in pen a circle/shape at the rough size you want your design to be tattooed on you. ALL photos are kept confidential. Photos are best taken by someone else, if they stand around three feet away from the area and you relax your body, I can later use this photo to photoshop your design onto the photo to help give you an idea as to how your design will look. 7. Are you open to getting the tattoo anywhere else on your body? 8. Please write a description, explaining what you would like tattooed, placement, size in centimetres or inches, colour or black and white. Any other important information you can provide that will help, would be appreciated. 9. Rough date you would like to get tattooed. 10. If you are planning on a large custom tattoo such as a sleeve, what is your budget for this piece? This will help me understand if your request, can be achieved within your price range. 11. If you are adding to an existing tattoo or looking to cover over an old tattoo can you kindly send over a Clear Photo of the tattoo. Only when all these questions have been answered and pictures are received can I process your request for an appointment. Thank you!

    What type of tattoos do you like doing and specialise in? I specialise in photorealism, I like tattooing in either colour or black and grey. I enjoy new challenges and original ideas. The subjects I enjoy the most are portraits, nature, wildlife, pets, pinup girls, japanese style artwork and all large scale works. If you want something tattooed that I have not listed here, please feel free to email your design over, I am always happy to discuss your ideas. Why choose me? It is important to me that the client is fully involved in the design but they give me the freedom to be creative with my own style, this allows me to create something special. Are you licensed? The studio is fully licensed with the local Environmental Health Department. I have a strict hygiene regime throughout the studio, after every customer, all equipment, chairs, work surfaces and floors are vigorously cleaned, sterilized or disposed of. Do you use the same needles for everyone? NO, I use brand new pre sterilized needles for everyjob, my local environmental health department disposes of these needles safely. My son/daughter is under 18, if I give consent, can you tattoo them? No professional tattoo studio will accept signed consent, by law you must be 18 years old to get a tattoo. Studios that tattoo minors run the risk of losing their license and gaining a bad reputation, not only for themselves but also for the industry. What do I need to do to prepare for my tattoo on the day? Good personal hygiene is a must! No one wants to tattoo someone with bad hygiene. Eat a light meal in the morning and drink plenty of water. What kind of payments do you except? Currently I can only except bank transfers or cash. Do I need to put a deposit down to book an appointment? Yes, I require a £100.00 deposit for you to secure an appointment date. All deposits paid are "NON REFUNDABLE" When do I need to pay my balance? Once you have paid your deposit and secured your appointment date you will be contacted around a week before your appointment to pay half of the remaining balance. You will then pay the final amount on the day of your tattoo. If I need to rearrange the date of my appointment, how much notice do I need to give and will I lose my deposit? If you wish to rearrange your appointment you need to give at least 48 hours notice; Saturday and Sunday's are not included as the studio is closed. Failure to do so will result in you "LOSING" your deposit. Do I need a Consultation? Once you have sent the email answering all the required questions, I will then let you no if a consultation is required. Nowadays we can set up a facetime call to discuss everything in detail. For custom pieces & designs that require a lot of changes, you may need a face-to-face consultation; there will be a charge for this service depending on how long is required.   • Do you use vegan-friendly tattoo inks?
    YES! The tattoo Ink I use is made of natural pigments, deionized water and hamamelis water. The Ink is free of animal by-products and is vegan. Eternal Ink is supplied in a medical grade sealed bottle, ensuring its longevity before and after opening. Eternal Ink pigments are regularly evaluated for testing.     By Appointment only. Michael Rose Fine Art & Tattoos, Unit 3, 25 St Andrews Street, Hertford, Hertfordshire, SG14 1HZ. Located to the rear of this beautiful Grade II listed building. Hertford, historic market town is 20 miles north of London in the East Hertfordshire countryside, an area often regarded as one of the most desirable in the UK. The town dates back to the 10th Century and lies at the confluence of four rivers. Travel Hertford has two railway stations - Hertford East, which connects to Liverpool Street; and Hertford North, which connects to Kings Cross and Moorgate. The Hertford BusZone is an area in which you can add unlimited bus travel at a discounted price to your rail ticket with one simple through fare. West Anglia Great Northern Railways has joined together with bus service providers in the Hertford area, through the Intalink Partnership, to allow you the freedom to travel anywhere within the Hertford BusZone. Parking There are two multi-storey and five surface car parks in Hertford. These provide a total of 987 spaces. East Herts District Council have recently introduced a new tariff that allows the first half hour of parking free of charge, and a flat fee of £1 for parking between 4pm and 6:30pm. Between 7:30am and 4:00pm charges are 80p for an hour following the initial 30 minute free period, £2.00 for three hours and £3.60 for 5 hours. Long stay charges are £3.60 for 5 hours or £4.40 all day. Parking after 6:30pm and on Sundays is free. On street parking is available for up to 30 minutes in Fore Street and Bull Plain. Tesco has parking for 283 cars for up to 2 hours. M&S Food also has a small pay-and-display car park for customers.
